Improve English by listening to songs
I realize that there are many ways to improve our English ,one of them is by listening to english songs. I think this is a great way to learn as most people love songs,as for me,i cant live without music. Music is the best buddy ever that entertain me all the time.

Yes I agree with you, it can be really helpful. For sure every individual has his/her own favorite singer and you can always listen to their English songs, and at the same time improve your English. But I can recommend some other method which I think it can be helpful as well. Instead of watching the music video with lyric you can listen to the song and write it down on a piece of paper and later on compare with the original lyric.

ReplyDeleteThere are plenty of ways to improve our english. It's just only you prefer which one.
I like to listen to the songs and listen to the radio when I'm doing something that no need to think. But I always listen to the Chinese songs and my english is not good enough.
I have to learn it from your suggestion to listen the english songs and learn from it.
Do not waste time to learn a language.

Ya, some English songs are helpful in learning English pronunciation but there are many of it did not pronounce in a correct way that you can compare to it's lyric and the artists used to their own singing styles so some of the pronunciation are quite blur and not clear.
ReplyDeleteI still prefer the classical English language learning method - learn from the English teacher or English language tuition class.
i totally agree with this learning method. this is one of the interesting way of learning english i would say. but, not by listening to rap songs. rappers normally don't pronounce words in proper ways. thus, this will somehow misguide people especially for those who are beginner in learning english. secondly, most of the asian singers who sing english songs don't speak english in proper way either. so, in this case, we should choose a proper english song as to learn english.

I do agree with this method of learning as it can help us in improving our english language yet music entertain us as well.
ReplyDeleteRap songs are not an appropriate example to be used as a learning tool, just like what Qi Mei had said,they used some immoral words in the songs.
