Brainstorming Session on The Topic
Here's the brainstorming session, feel free to leave comment by giving topics with research questions and so on and we'll see which topic is suitable and decide from the list...
here are the suggested topics that I think is interesting to research on: problem: 1. university's students ( mmu) practice unhealthy lifestyle in today's world.
research questions: 1. what makes student's to eat and sleep at irregular time? 2. what are the factors that affects students to eat irregularly everyday and sleep at odd time(either they don't sleep or sleep late for just few hours a day,)?- may be because of assignments and exams(academic basis)
3. what changes the culture of practicing unhealthy lifestyle among university's students(mmu)?
problem: the side effect of students spending most of the time watching movies.
research question:1. what are the advantages and disadvantages that students gain from watching movies? 2.what are the factors that make students to watch movie more often than they study or do other things? 3. how does watching movies affects the lifestyle of students now a days? how does the role of celebrities in the entertainment fields affects students life? 2
both topics are interesting as in we can bring out more in our report. as for the first one (students' life style) is wide enough for us to extend more, the second one (watching movie culture among students) is more narrow a bit. so if the first one chosen we atleast can add the second topic into the first one~ how do u guys think?
I prefer the one we discuss in class which is talking about the movie. I will like to know more about what the result is in the end. The first one is boring for me actually. I will feel stress if choose that one. It's just my opinion.
I cannot find anything about media in first topic! Media it should have an important role in topic, but I like to keep the student in any of our topic. What about something like: The effects of using mobile phone on students, or advantages and disadvantages of using mobile phone in daily life specifically for students. I think mobile it can be an interesting medium.
mobile is yet interesting, but may be we shall refrase the topic sentence so that there is a culture of using mobile phone. but this topic is a bit dull and boring, it won't attracts people as for presentation wise. i would prefer either movie or unhelthy lifestyle...:)
btw, for the first topic, we can also include the problem observed by saying, mmu students use ,most of their time on computer.(they may be doing assignments or playing games).
using computer has become a major part of student's life,whether or not are they using for academic wise or entertainment wise,computer and internet has shape a digital world in students and it affects students' lifestyle and health

But I still prefer the movie.
